Hassan is a college professor and his brother Tarek is a chemist who ends up working at a pickle factory. When tragedy strikes, both brothers consider either leaving the country with their families or marrying their children off to wealthy spouses.

The actors try to put a stop to the revealing play, but their manager insists that the show must go on.

The work deals with the life story of the late singer Asmahan, from her birth until her move from Beirut to Cairo to work as a singer and actress, where her name shone alongside her brother Farid al-Atrash. The series also touches on her relationship with some of the artists who lived during her time and up to the mysterious accident of her death.
