Newly divorced Nilgün, a doctor from Istanbul, is sent to a remote small town to practice; where she meets up with long lost friend Havva while treating local prostitutes.

This is the story of the politician named Zübük. He gets expelled from the political party that he is a member of, due to corruption. The journalist Yaşar wants to make a news story about his case and investigates Zübük's doings. Yaşar gets baffled at the sly tricks Zübük played on his village people. In the end, he feels sorry about Zübük's present situation, however, as things happen he becomes aware that Zübük has been tricking him.

Married couple move to a new house. Thanks to this new house they climb the social ladder. At the same time troubles are started.

Nazif Usta, who was at the factory at the time, is arrested at the scene and sentenced to death in court. However, Burhan will try to find the culprits to save his father.

The plot of Death Curtain is incredibly interesting. According to the film, communists are about to blow up Istanbul with a secret bomb hidden in a curtain, but Murat Davman saves Turkey from this disaster. In the film, the leader of the communists is a woman named Leyla Sayar, while the leader of the Turkish police is another woman, Muallâ Kaynak. Murat Davman, meanwhile, is busy dealing with the bomb while also managing to keep up with both women thanks to his "little" flirtations.

The film tells the story of two old friends, Ahmet and Kemal, who work together to solve a murder. Ahmet, nicknamed "Baba," makes a living as an accountant. Throughout this process, both Kemal and Ahmet begin to question their own lives.
