It's been a year since Katya's wedding so now Dasha is getting ready to marry.

World War II. In autumn 1941 the German troops completely surrounded one of the biggest Russian cities — Leningrad. 2,5 million civilians got trapped in the city. The movie is based on the events in South Ossetia in August 2008, and portraying a brutal Georgian army engaging in ethnic cleansing at the behest of its omnipresent American masters.

The brisk and determined Sasha wants to take revenge on her ex-boyfriend and disrupt his wedding. To put his plan into practice, Sasha comes to St. Petersburg, where he gets a job at the registry office. But instead of the registrar of weddings, she gets the place of the registrar of divorces. Sasha becomes a witness to many ridiculous situations, as well as a participant in romantic adventures.
