It is based on the Argentine telenovela Valientes (2009), created by Marcos Carnevale and Lily Ann Martin. Adapted by Katia Rodríguez Estrada, the telenovela was directed by Víctor Rodríguez and Carlos Santos. It stars Alejandra Espinoza, Gonzalo García Vivanco, Rodrigo Guirao, Christian de la Campa, Ana Martín, Sabine Moussier, Diego Olivera, and Altaír Jarabo.
