When the 'Big Four' - Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax - shared a stage together on 22nd June 2010 in Sofia, Bulgaria, the show was beamed live into over 550 theatres worldwide via satellite in a special HD cinematic event. The Big Four Live from Sofia includes full shows from all four bands as well as behind the scenes and interview footage. The legendary concert from the Sonisphere Festival was one of only 7 shows across Europe when the four monsters of metal shared a stage for the first time.

Filmed at the Augusta Civic Centre in Maine, USA, on 11 July 2004, Still Reigning showcases Slayer’s 1986 album, Reign in Blood, played in its entirety with the four original band members, as it celebrates the return to the fold of beloved original drummer Dave Lombardo. Also included from the same show are performances of Slayer classics such as 'Necrophiliac' from 1985’s Hell Awaits and 'War Ensemble'.

Slayer performed at Wacken Open Air in 2014, and a live recording of their performance, specifically their song "War Ensemble", from that set, was included as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of their album "Repentless". The "Repentless" album was released in September 2015, but the live recording from Wacken was from the previous year.

Filmed at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco, California on December 7, 2001, War at the Warfield would become Slayer's first music DVD. Originally set for release on February 13, 2003, it was delayed several times, due to unspecified "production issues". War at the Warfield peaked at number 3 on the Billboard DVD chart with sales of 7,000.
