Haute Couture model in Paris becomes involved in the activities of two rival jewel thief gangs.

Mr Jo, nicknamed "the man with the Buick", is the darling of the small town of Honfleur. But he is in fact a trafficker with a bad reputation who would like to forget about his past, now limiting himself to smuggling rubies under the cover of a charitable organization which offers underprivileged children holidays in Switzerland. However, Mr. Jo is in love with a pretty widow and, in order to marry her, he is willing to get involved in a hold-up again. And "the man with the Buick", who seemed so honorable, will surprise the inhabitants of Honfleur when Inspector Menard reveals his secret activities.

Catherine Guérande, a 19-year-old Parisian girl, decides to become a prostitute after a messy love affair. She did not count on Pornotropos, a brutal racketeer who runs the profitable business of model agencies, cabarets, and camping sites, backed by Thanatos, his brother, who runs the mugging and murder side of their business. Pornotropos is not taking it well that a freelancer is around reducing his profits, and he sets his girls to harass and beat her up. Paul, a young and handsome executive in his company, decides to investigate the shady causes of death of his late boss, and when Paul meets Catherine it's love at first sight.

Béru calls Commissaire San Antonio to the rescue, and the two men discover that Laurenzi's hotel is home to a "brothel" whose director, Madame Albertine, soon reveals to the two policemen that Laurenzi was having an ongoing relationship with Helga, one of the boarders, and Mr. Max, a regular guest of the house.

The Marquis de Cernay, who has his eye on Nancy's portfolio, engages Maurice, a hardworking writer, to follow the young woman. She learns from both of them that they are only interested in her fortune. However, when she learns of the deception, she returns to her usual social life. She will return to him when the Marquis de Cernay has betrayed himself once and for all.

Martine runs a sports center for women ,but they are short of the readies. To avoid seizure,she turns her health club into a nightclub with plenty of whiskey and wild women.

At Theater tonight is a TV show broadcasted from 25th August 1966 to 21st September 1985. The show is broadcast plays recorded in two or three days, during public performances at the Théâtre Marigny on the Champs-Élysées, or sometimes Edouard VII theater.
