El Mochaorejas (2026)

Based on true events, Mochaorejas delves into the social and criminal climate behind the wave of kidnappings that terrorized Mexico in the 1990s. Inspired by journalist Olga Wornat’s investigation, the series reconstructs the case of Daniel Arizmendi—one of the decade’s most notorious criminals—who was arrested in 1998 after a string of crimes that left a lasting mark on the nation. Set against a backdrop of fear and impunity, the story examines how these crimes reshaped everyday life and forever altered Mexico’s sense of security.
