João Medeiros is an internationally renowned photographer who suffers an attack in Prague, when he happens to photograph a Nazi leader who was in the middle of secret plans. In his last moments on Earth, his life is saved by the angel Rafael, sent by the highest heavenly bodies to offer him a new chance. The angel warns the photographer that he will only have six months to live to solve his problems with his family, neglected since he abandoned everything for the profession - including solving his situation with ex-wife Naná, who now lives with the profiteer Tarsus, and get along with his two daughters. Amor e Revolução is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT and originally broadcast from April 5, 2011, to January 13, 2012. Created by Tiago Santiago, with collaboration from Renata Dias Gomes, Miguel Paiva, and Eliana Garcia, and directed by Reynaldo Boury, the telenovela stars Graziella Schmitt, Cláudio Lins, and Lúcia Veríssimo. The production was the first Brazilian telenovela to portray the period of the military dictatorship as its main theme. The story follows Victória Castro and Lucas Nogueira, two young people who fall in love while living in Portugal. Bondomil, a quiet little town, becomes famous because in its main square there's a tree with strange fruits, with the format of the male sex organ, supposed to be an aphrodisiac for women. Soon the population grows wild, and tourists gather around it.

His son, Tião, one of the employees, is more of a realist and doesn't want to risk losing his job by striking. This clash of perspectives puts the father and son at odds. The diversity within the group however, is also remarkable. It's made up about half men and half women. The men are the most diverse, ranging from your average guy looking for love to an Afro-Brazilian womanizing rich playboy, to a conflicted homosexual, heir to a business empire. It is the friendship (Amizade) and bond between these people that the film exposes, and at the same time it explores the different personalities of this apparently homogeneous, but actually psychologically diverse group of Sao Paulo yuppies. They stick together "'til friendship should ever separate them"
