Inspired by Jean Genet's 1950 homoerotic "Un Chant D'Amour", this short film interrogates patriarchal credo through the lens of its unseen bodies. Shiny young male bodies are replaced with post-menopausal women, who celebrate their erotic power after shedding the patriarchal construct which places them ‘of the market'(as author Virginie Despentes would say).

The lives of the three boys Tino, Oli and Nico. Buckow, the pearl of Märkisch Switzerland, becomes the setting for the everyday problems of youth. Tino is struggling to finish secondary school, but actually prefers to race through the forest on his motocross bike. Oli works in a club. His boss is always giving him a hard time, which is why he dreams of opening his own club one day. Nico has no training, is on probation and unemployed. His beats and rhymes are all he has left. The everyday struggle with bad grades, violence, drugs, friends and enemies is portrayed in a ruthlessly realistic way. The only thing that holds them together is their friendship. Before Snowfall starts with a dramatic escape: Eighteen year-old Nermin runs away from her wedding in a village in Iraqi Kurdistan. Being the elder of the family, her younger brother Siyar becomes responsible for finding her and restoring the family reputation. The mission proves a dangerous one for the inexperienced Siyar. First stop is Istanbul, where he meets Elvin, a young girl who becomes his travel companion. On the way from east to west, through Europe and all the way to Norway, Siyar comes to realize his own need for respect, and for love.

Juggling a never-ending barrage of responsibilities, parents and business owners Maik and Linh are occupied with money worries and their marriage is at the bottom of their to-do list.
