Womit haben wir das verdient?

Wanda is a staunch atheist and feminist who considers herself and her blended family to be very liberal and open-minded. One day, her teenage daughter Nina announces that she has decided to convert to Islam and become a Muslim woman, to live a halal lifestyle and to wear a headscarf. She also wants to be called Fatima from now on. Wanda is shocked and completely taken aback. On the one hand, she therefore tries to gather as much information as possible about Islam in order to come to terms with her daughter’s decision and prepare for it; on the other hand, however, she does everything she can to dissuade Nina from her plan. Her ex-husband, who is set to become a father once again, is of little help to her in this regard. Wanda longs for the days when her daughter’s smoking weed and skipping school were her only worries.
