FilmDe Gaulle and the Free French in World War II
2010 · Vizyonda · 52 dk
In June 1940 nothing was written. The appeal of June 18 by General de Gaulle was a hope but also a start. The start for an essential page of the History of France, written by De Gaulle and his followers, without whom nothing would have existed in the Resistance to the German tyranny and this film wishes to honor their memory.

Film7.3“The Soviet Story” is a story of an Allied power, which helped the Nazis to fight Jews and which slaughtered its own people on an industrial scale. Assisted by the West, this power triumphed on May 9th, 1945. Its crimes were made taboo, and the complete story of Europe’s most murderous regime has never been told. Until now...
Film6.4Prelude to War was the first film of Frank Capra's Why We Fight propaganda film series, commissioned by the Pentagon and George C. Marshall. It was made to convince American troops of the necessity of combating the Axis Powers during World War II. This film examines the differences between democratic and fascist states.

Film7.4Over a period of two years, Mark Cowen and his crew travelled to thirty U.S. states and ten European cities, to interview the veterans of Easy Company. The stories told by the veterans themselves, create a history of the Second World War from the point of view of this heroic company of men, made famous in the mini-series Band of Brothers.

Film7.8They Shall Not Grow Old, I. Dünya Savaşı döneminde çekilen ve daha önce hiç görülmemiş görüntüleri kullanarak, Büyük Savaş'ın askerlerine ve etkilerine dair olağanüstü bir bakış sunuyor. Fantastik sinemanın baş tacı serilerinden “The Lord of the Rings” ve “The Hobbit” üçlemelerinin 3 Oscar’lı yönetmeni Peter Jackson da, 2014 yılında vizyona giren “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies”ten beri ilk kez beyaz perdeye geri dönüyor.
