Erik van Muiswinkel & Diederik van Vleuten: Mannen met vaste lasten

One day a man has to go. Away from family, away from home and hearth. Away from the grind in his work, out to see the world straight in the eye! One day, in short, a man has to go to a house. Diederik van Vleuten asked his friend Erik van Muiswinkel to come along. The result was Mannen met Vaste Lasten, a cabaret program in which two men, one with a house and a bunk bed, clash with each other. Tens of thousands of theatergoers and one and a half million TV viewers recognized their own man in these two men. Their father. Their brother. And worst of all: himself. What are two Dutch friends of over forty discussing in a cottage on a Wadden Island? Life, death, the basic setup and the big question: What time do we go to the village? Men with Fixed Charges: a hundred minutes of top cabaret on ten square meters.
