Film8.13 sene Formula 1 yarışlarında şampiyonluk ipini göğüsleyen Brezilyalı efsanevi yarışçı Ayrton Senna’nın hayat hikayesini anlatan belgesel türündeki film, ünlü yarışçının 1980’li yıllarda başladığı F1 kariyerini ve bu acımasız arenada yaşadıklarını beyazperdeye taşıyor. En büyük rakibi olarak görülen Fransa Dünya Şampiyonu Alain Prost ile aralarında geçen mücadele, spordan siyasete uzanan bir güçler dengesini de beraberinde getirmiştir. Senna, kişisel dünyasında ise vatanı Brezilya’ya sonuna kadar bağlı ama ününün getirdiği şöhretten uzak, mütevazi bir hayat sürdürür. Fakat 1994 yılında ölümüyle sonuçlanan trajik kaza, Senna’nın hayranlarını, F1 tutkunlarını ve tüm sporseverleri derinden bir yasa boğmuştur. 34 yaşında hayatını kaybeden bu F1 pilotu tüm zamanların en iyi yarış pilotu olarak adını altın harflerle spor tarihine yazdırmıştır.
