Alexey Shuvalov, nicknamed Magaban — one of the most daring and charismatic gangsters of the 1990s, yet far too humane for the criminal world. Left without work and without a penny to his name, Shuvalov takes a job as a simple bathhouse attendant. The security post at this bathhouse is held by Igor Rubtsov, known as Bruce, formerly one of the most famous, tough, and scandalous detectives who once kept the entire city in fear but refused to accept the new rules of the system.
