The King's Warden

In a remote mountain valley, the deposed teenage monarch Prince Nosan, also known as Lee Hong Gui, arrives in exile, haunted by the brutal execution of his loyalists. His arrival brings tension to the village led by Eom Heung Do, who initially hopes for prosperity but finds himself protecting a broken, suicidal prince. As Prince Nosan struggles with his lost sovereignty, he finds an unexpected purpose in mentoring Heung Do’s son and bonding with the villagers. However, Prince Nosan isn't fully free of the palace's clutches, as an uncle hopes to restore him to the throne despite the new king and ruthless royal officials' opposition. When the prince is faced with an ultimate life-or-death situation, can he count on Heung Do to remain by his side?
