Marik

Mark Aksyonov, a military doctor with the 1st Corps of the Donetsk People's Republic, is returning home to Donetsk. He hasn't been here for a long time: four years at the front, two in a Ukrainian prison. In his native Makeevka, everyone believes Mark, or as everyone calls him, Marik, is dead. His wife has long been married to his best friend, Aleksey, also a former militia fighter and soldier, now a police major, and only his daughter, Vasilisa, is drawn to her father. Mark leaves for Mariupol, where he becomes an ambulance doctor and, together with his driver, Elena Semyonovna, and paramedic, Shumovich, begins saving lives.
