Monteverde

Carolina is married to a corrupt man who commits fraud and blames her, forcing her to flee with her young son. Desperate and with nowhere to turn, she seeks help from her twin sister, Celeste, a nun. When they reunite, the sisters devise a daring plan: to switch identities. Carolina assumes Celeste’s role and arrives in Monteverde, a remote town inhabited only by men and ruled by Óscar León, a bitter man abandoned by his wife. Out of spite, he has banned women from working or settling there.​ However, Father Gabriel and the real Sister Celeste refuse to accept the status quo. Together, they launch a bold mission to bring in a group of women determined to challenge the rules, heal the town’s wounds, and restore love and community to a place ruled by resentment.
