Devi Kusumasana

In 16th-century Sri Lanka, Konnapu Bandara renounced Christianity and became King Wimaladharmasuriya. Kusumasana Devi was baptized by the Portuguese as Dona Catharina and made a colonial queen. Wimaladharmasuriya was drawn to her, and their marriage became both a love story and a political turning point.
