The Long Way Back

Starting from the perspective of an ordinary soldier's growth in the anti-Japanese united army, it uses small details to reflect larger themes, depicting the most arduous struggle of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army and the people of Northeast China under the leadership of the Communist Party against the invasion of Japanese imperialism during the fourteen-year-long nationwide War of Resistance, which began with the September 18th Incident.
