The seaside town of Divnomorsk. Vanya Krutov has a sharp mind, phenomenal memory and exceptional powers of observation. One day, after watching a news report about a warehouse robbery, he immediately guesses who the real criminal is, but the police refuse to believe him, believing that he himself is an accomplice.
