Film6.3Unutulmaz afiş ve açılış jeneriklerine imza atmış, 20. yüzyılın ikonik grafik tasarımcılarından Saul Bass. Kısa filmi ile Oscar kazandıktan hemen sonra, ilk uzun metrajını çekmek için kollarını sıvadığında saygı hak ettiğini düşünebilirsiniz. Ama 1974’te stüdyo yöneticileri için öyle değildi: Bass, karıncalar üzerinden zeki ve stilize bir bilimkurgu yapmak isterken Paramount, filmi klişe bir gişe canavarına çevirmek istiyordu.
