The story of the tangled lives of Celyn and Margaux. Julio and Beatriz cannot have a child. One day, Beatriz calls Teresa, her half-sister, to be their surrogate mother in exchange for financial help. Teresa is reluctant at first but accepts. She carries the child for nine months but when she gives birth, she runs away. Years later, the child grows up as an intelligent and kind woman named Celyn.
