Sweat (2023)

The “Perle” fitness studio is getting a bit old. Now the doomed studio is to be saved by, of all people, the disgraced actor Theo Anders (Phil Laude). Right from the start, Theo really gets on the nerves of his team in the studio with his airs and graces. The Pearl team consists of the ambitious deputy boss Manu (Zeynep Bozbay), the good-humoured, idealistic trainer Finn (Bozidar Kocevski), the intellectual Sydney (Precious Wiesner) and the brash regular customer Ezra (Tina Pfurr). The new guy only finds support from the old boss and Theo Anders fan Raimund (Detlev Buck), who still has a close connection to his buddy, the former bodybuilder Ralf Moeller. (Text: VT)
