Film6.4İki çocuğunu yanına alıp, kendisine şiddet uygulayan kocasından kaçarak New York’a gelen Clara, tıpkı onun gibi zor zamanlardan geçen dört kişiyle tanışır: Sinir krizinin eşiğinde bir hemşire olan Alice, işlemediği bir suçla lekelenen Mark, avukatı John Peter, hayatta hiçbir amacı olmayan genç Jeff ve ailesinden kalan restoranı ayakta tutma mücadelesi veren, hayalperest Timofey.
