Early silent film from Uzbekistan: Adolat lives happily with her mother and father, leading a joyous life alongside her best friend, Qumri, who is later married to Umar. But this happiness comes to an end the day she is given in marriage as a second wife to the wealthy merchant Taki Bai, whose first wife Kadhija is infertile.

Film6.8Yasmina Khadra´nın Türkçe dahil 40 dile çevrilen ve dünya çapında çok satan kitabı Saldırı´dan uyarlanan film, İsrailli Arap doktor Emin´in karısı hakkındaki gerçeği keşfetmesini anlatıyor. Emin kendi kurduğu dünyasında mutlu, başarılı bir kariyeri olan, eşini çok seven bir doktordur. Tel Aviv´de ailesine ve köklerine uzak ama hoşnut olduğu bir hayat yaşar. Bir gün bir restoranda patlayan bir bombayla hayatı alt üst olur. Restorana bir intihar saldırısı düzenlenmiştir ve polis hemen Emin´in karısından şüphelenmiştir. Emin başta böyle bir şeyin mümkün olabileceğine inanmaz. Herkesin cani olarak gördüğü karısını temize çıkarmak için kendi araştırmasını yapar, ancak peşinden gittiği gerçekler yüzüne çarptıkça devam etmesi gittikçe zorlaşır.
