In the late 1960s, educated young people came to Yunnan with the ideal of conquering heaven. To plant "useful" rubber trees, they began to clear "useless" virgin forests. When the tree on the mountain has fallen, people raise the machete towards the "king of the tree", whom the villagers have revered for generations. The local farmer "Xiao Geda", a cook who understands mountains and forests, fought each other with his life, and the two sides launched a contest.
