The main characters, brothers Jerzy and Wojciech, start working on a fishing farm in Masuria. They quickly discover that the local community is being terrorised by an organised criminal group that brazenly steals eels from fishing nets. Together with an ichthyologist they meet at the lake, they decide to put an end to the ruthless gang's activities.
