Fr. Antoni Wójtowicz assumed this function after the death of his uncle, Fr. Bernard Grochowski. In 2009, he was transferred to the rectory in the city of Hrubielów, and his place was taken by Fr. Antoni Król. From then on, the vast majority of the plot of the series took place in Hrubielów, and occasionally also in Tulczyn, Brzeziny, Honiatycze, Stara Spring, Grudziądz, Lublin and Warsaw.
