Bir grup üniversite öğrencisi mağara çizimlerini aramak için yağmur ormanlarına gider; ama bir zamanlar soyu tükenmiş olduğu düşünülen dev bir boa yılanı kana susamış durumdadır.

Uyarılarına rağmen gerçekleştirilen tehlikeli bir deney sonucunda dünya yörüngesinden çıkar ve güneşe doğru hareket etmeye başlar.
