Young Saale approaches her aunt in a seaside town, with a small, completely black suitcase on her finger. In it is her only treasure, a crystal ball that breaks the light, a memory of a mother whose death has left the world in peace. She has suffered revulsion and humility, and she no longer expects anything good from people. To her surprise, the young fisherman Tanel is willing to walk with him on the beach, even in silence, without alienating and ridiculing Saale's faith in God. Gradually, Saale's soul also opens up to the colors of worldly life.
