Siggi'nin, Nansen'in gözetimi konusunda babasına yardım etmesi gerekirken aksine babasına isyan eder, inatçı Nansen'ın yanında yer alır ve bazı yasak resimlerini saklaması sonucunda kendisinin akıl hastanesine gönderilmesine yol açar.
