Film6.9Carlo and Elisa are a successful couple. He’s a university professor and writer facing a creative block; she’s a brilliant, sharp-witted journalist, known for her internationally published editorials. They live in Rome, moving between accomplishments and routine, affection and something that might be fading. In search of new energy, they travel to Morocco with their lifelong friends, Anna and Paolo, and their thirteen-year-old daughter Vittoria—bright, curious, a little eccentric. Tensions soon rise.
Film6.4İki çocuğunu yanına alıp, kendisine şiddet uygulayan kocasından kaçarak New York’a gelen Clara, tıpkı onun gibi zor zamanlardan geçen dört kişiyle tanışır: Sinir krizinin eşiğinde bir hemşire olan Alice, işlemediği bir suçla lekelenen Mark, avukatı John Peter, hayatta hiçbir amacı olmayan genç Jeff ve ailesinden kalan restoranı ayakta tutma mücadelesi veren, hayalperest Timofey. Görünüşte sıradan ama dünyaları apayrı insanların New York’ta karşılaşmalarının ve birbirlerine tutunmalarının hikayesi.
Film6.3Italy, 1989. After years of hard training, 13-year-old Felice, carrying his father's expectations on his shoulders, finally sets out to compete in the national tennis tournaments. While dreaming of a simple summer vacation, he's instead placed under the wing of ex tennis champion Raul, an unconventional coach hired by his father. Match after match, the two embark on a journey that will lead Felice to discover the taste of freedom, and Raul to glimpse the possibility of a fresh start. As they travel along the Italian coast, an unexpected, deep, and sincere bond between them develops.
Film7.5Formal portraits, bookends in this 80-year saga, enclose the central story, which opens with the baptism of Carlo, a baby in his grandfather's lap, and ends with Carlo as a grandfather with a baby in his arms. And never once do we get out of the house, whose rooms provide structure. Comfort or passion? Carlo can't really decide until it's too late.
Film7.2Carla Zachanassian had a child by Serge Miller as a teenager. When Serge refused to marry her, she was driven out of town. By her own wit and cunning, she has returned as a multi-millionaire for a visit.
