I promessi sposi

Set between 1629 and 1631, this adaptation tells the story of Renzo Tramaglino and Lucia Mondella, commoners from Lombardy forced to part ways and endure countless trials and tribulations due to the tyranny of the local nobleman Don Rodrigo. However, during their journey, they will encounter various people willing to help them, from Fra Cristoforo to the Unnamed (who is cruel at first but later repents), from Federigo Borromeo to Donna Prassede.
