Seksenlerin ünlü grupları Go-Go's, Oingo Boingo ve The Cars'ın müzikleriyle Nicolas Cage, Eric Stoltz ve Anthony Edwards'ın ilk oyunculuk denemelerini yaptıkları Fast Times at Ridgemont High öncülerinden olduğu güçlü ve cesur gençlik komedisi türünde seyircileri günümüzde de hala eğlendirerek etkisini sürdürüyor.
