Buğday çuvalını kontrol eden çiftçi, yaşlı babasıyla birlikte tarlaya buğday eker. Buğday satmak için gittikleri buğday kralı onlardan buğday almaz. Buğday kralının açgözlülüğü ve kendi menfaatine aldığı kararlar, buğday fiyatlarının yükselmesine, buğday üreticisinin kazancının düşmesine ve ekmeğin ana maddesi olması nedeniyle ekmek fiyatlarının iki katına çıkmasına neden olur. Buğdayını satamayan çiftçinin karısı ve kızı, paraları yetmediği için ekmek almaya gittikleri köşedeki marketten elleri boş dönerler. Marketteki zamlara isyan eden halk, polis tarafından püskürtülür. Açgözlü buğday kralı ise kontrolü ele geçirmesinin verdiği güçle 4.000.000 dolar kazanır. Sevinçten deliye dönen buğday kralı, ayağı kayınca buğday deposuna düşer ve üzerine dökülen buğdayların altında can verir. Çiftçi tarlasına buğday ekmeye devam eder.

After the lewd and frenetic Dance of the Seven Veils, and with the solemn pledge from the very lips of Herod himself that she could have whatever her heart desires up to half his kingdom, wanton and proud young Salomé comes before her king with an unreasonable demand. Beguiled by John the Baptist, and then scorned for the sake of his god, lascivious Salomé—encouraged by her mother, the vindictive, Herodias—commands that John be executed and his head delivered on a silver platter.

Short film made with the help of the Sundance Film Institute and serving as a proof-of-concept for the subsequent feature film.
