Film6.9İngiltere’nin 80’li yıllarda, şiddet dolu davranışlarından ötürü en popüler mahkûmlarından biri olan Michael Peterson’ın gerçek yaşam öyküsünden uyarlanan film, 19 yaşındaki genç Michael’ın çok çabuk öfkelenen karakter çizgileriyle başlıyor.Dünya üzerinde isminin kalıcı olmasını isteyen Michael’ın aklına bir gün postane soymak fikri gelir ve eline aldığı silahıyla hiç düşünmeden bunu gerçekleştirir. İlk olarak 7 yıl olarak kararlaştırılan hücre hapsi, hapishane içerisindeki uygunsuz hareketleri sonucunda 34 sene olur.Tüm bu seneler boyunca Peterson’ın aklı, yarattığı ‘Charles Bronson’ karakterinin kontrolündedir. Bronson’ın aklındaysa popüler kültürün dokunaklı sonu vardır. 21. yüzyılın ‘Otomatik Portakal’ı olarak nitelendirilen film, yüksek şiddet içeren sahneleriyle de adını duyurmakta.
