Çekimleri İstanbul ve İzmir'de gerçekleştirilen, yapımına kalabalık bir Türk teknik ekibinin de katkıda bulunduğu bu filmin başrollerinde ise Charles Bronson, Tony Curtis, Fikret Hakan ve Salih Güney'den oluşan son derece renkli bir kadro yer alıyordu. Dönem, 1920'li yılların başları... Adam ve Josh adlı Amerikalı iki eski asker, yanlarında bir grup serüvenci ve içi ağzına kadar silah dolu bir gemiyle Osmanlı Devleti'nin Ege kıyılarına demir atarlar. İki kafadarın başlangıçtaki tek derdi, uzak diyarlara açılıp oralarda bir 'savaş' bulmak ve ihtiyacı olanlara silah satmaktır. Tam ortasına düştükleri Türk Kurtuluş Savaşı da voliyi vurmak için gayet ideal bir pazar görünümündedir. Fakat kahramanlarımızın kısa yoldan köşeyi dönme hesapları çok geçmeden çökecek ve bu savaşta onlar da adım adım birer 'taraf'a dönüşeceklerdir.

Three World War II buddies promise to meet at a specified place and time 10 years after the war. They keep their word only to discover how far apart they've grown. But the reunion sparks memories of youthful dreams that haven't been fulfilled -- and slowly, the three men reevaluate their lives and try to find a way to renew their friendship.

A by-the-book Captain is ordered to capture a strategic village in Italy. The Italian soldiers are willing to surrender, if they can have a festival first. The lieutenant convinces the Captain this is the only way. Because of aerial reconnaissance, they must look like they are fighting. To sort this out an intelligence officer is sent in.
