Der Sträfling aus Stambul

A Turkish smuggler is released after spending a year and a half in jail. Upon returning home, he discovers that his former collaborators have betrayed him and, at the same time, he meets a poor young woman who sells vacuum cleaners from house to house. He welcomes her, helps her and she asks him to marry her. He accepts, although hiding the fact that he is already married. However, his enemies will know how to take charge of that oversight.
