Jockei Monika

Monika lives in a village in East Germany and dreams of becoming a jockey. She attends the local riding club and, after finishing school, begins an apprenticeship at a racing stable. There, her dream comes true, and she finally becomes a jockey. Initially, many people ridicule her, as women face significant challenges in this profession, but through hard work and dedication, she manages to silence her critics. Naturally, she remains loyal to her small hometown and often returns there.
