Josef Nötzli is a shy and somewhat awkward man. He has been working as an accountant in a chemical plant in West Berlin for 26 years. But Nötzli originally comes from Switzerland. Nötzli started out as an accountant and remained in this position. Due to a misunderstanding, Nötzli suddenly makes someone else's career. At last, Nötzli is able to put his knowledge and concepts into practice. With his ideas, he quickly steers the badly damaged company back into the profit zone. A producer of erotic / pornographic pictures would like very much to win the Golden Banana at the 13th Danish Festival of Pornographic Pictures. He tries to spy what the other studios are filming...

The young Chinese heir to millions in the USA is suddenly destitute. He takes out a life insurace policy on himself and assigns his former teacher to kill him.

Josef Nötzli has swapped his job as an accountant for a chicken farm in Switzerland. He wants to be just as successful as his twin brother John, who he believes runs the Aurora Hotel in Berlin. In reality, however, John is one of the biggest underworld bosses, and the "Aurora" is Berlin's most famous brothel. When John suddenly dies in Bangkok, Max, John's partner, wants to prevent anyone in Berlin from finding out about John's death at all costs. First, with Josef's help, he has to get the black money from the bank. Under the pretext of having to accept the inheritance, Max brings Josef to Berlin. Once there, of course, everyone believes that Josef is John, the feared underworld boss, and so a maelstrom of confusion ensues.

A melancholic enjoyable journey by an old couple who escape the dreary everyday life of a Berlin retirement home for a day: at Pentecost, Margarete and Heinrich come up with the idea of visiting their nephew, whom they believe to have invited them to dinner. So they set off on their own, and although they don't always know where they are or why they have actually set off, they have a wonderful day. Even if the police find them and bring them back before they reach their destination.

Annette von Droste-Hülshoff tells her friend Levin Schücking about her recently completed story Die Judenbuche and begins by reading from the manuscript. The protagonist of the actual story is Friedrich Mergel, whose father Hermann Mergel has a fatal accident under a beech tree on a stormy night while returning from a wedding abroad. Friedrich, who earns his living as a cowherd, is adopted by his uncle Simon, who uses him for his obscure business.

Edebiyatbilimci Jochen Vogel’in sözleriyle “Tatort, Alman toplumunu anlatan bir roman.”
