İşte Amerikan komedisinin en başarılı temsilcilerinden biri, Seinfeld’in Elaine’i, The New Adventures of Old Christine’in Christine’i Julia Louis-Dreyfus, o kişi olmaya karar verdi ve Veep ile karşımıza dikildi. Veep, yani Vice President’ın (Başkan Yardımcısı) kısa adı, Louis-Dreyfus’un canlandırdığı Selina Meyer’ın düşe kalka temsil ettiği bir statü.
