Gustavo Bueno Martínez was a Spanish philosopher and the founder of the philosophical system known as philosophical materialism. He taught at the University of Oviedo and wrote extensively on philosophy, politics, religion, science, and Spanish history. He also appeared in the 2015 documentary Gustavo Bueno. La vuelta a la caverna.
