When an aspiring Polish artist, Patryk, struggles to sell his paintings, he finds himself at Tear Dealer, a unique art project letting people in poverty trade their tears for złoty. However, his persistent wandering must finally result in a true love.

For the parents, the journey is one of anxiety and separation, which forces them to reflect anew on the essence of their relationship.
