Annesinin ölümüyle ilgili yalanından ötürü Antoine'a hala garezi olan öğretmeni ona ve René'ye 8 gün okuldan uzaklaştırma cezası verir. İki kafadar durumu ailelerine açıklayamayacakları için evden kaçmaya karar verirler. Amaçları denize ulaşmaktır. Ancak paraları yoktur. Bunun üzerine Antoine gece babasının bürosuna gidip bir daktilo çalmak ister. Ne planlar istendiği gibi gider ne dertler biter.
