It was announced on TV that the most powerful coronal mass ejection in the Earth's history would take place. Humankind has only 24 hours left. The world runs mad in different ways getting ready for the apocalypse, and a unique local scenario of waving the life goodbye is inverted in the village. Tables are put together, pies are baked, and some gather strength and courage to make the most important decisions of their lives... But what about the doomsday? It just doesn't arrive. This world war two story depicts the personal war between a Soviet sniper and a German sniper. Their feud continues after the war in Soviet occupied Germany. At the same time a Nazi rocket scientist continues his research while a Soviet secret police team arrives from Moscow to find hidden Nazi rocket research documents and rocket propulsion systems.

Young school teacher Rita comes to Moscow form her countryside town and rents an apartment under very strange conditions.

A young woman (Nastya) arrives in Moscow to study at the Conservatory and thinks her sister (Alya) will help her with a place to stay. Her sister, however, can only offer her to live in the hospital, where her son is waiting for a kidney transplant. Meanwhile, the only source of money for them is a rich family, more exactly Dmitri, a football related "businessman", for whom Alya has been working as a cleaning lady. Then comes the romance between Nastya and Dmitri, but...
