  Gareth adlı şövalyenin gökyüzünden kayarak düşen bir kuyruklu yıldızın peşinden gidişi ile öykü başlar. Bu şövalye yanarak yere düşen şeyin bir yıldız olduğunu ve onu bulduğundan bir hayli altına da kavuşacağını düşünerek yollara düşmüştür. Ancak gitmek istediği yere vardığında bunun yıldız değil bir ejderha bulunduğunu anlar. Gareth önce yaralanmış olan ejderhayı iyileştirir bu nedenle ejderha artık ona borçlanmış olacaktır.   Marcel is a forty-year-old Belgian businessman married to Marilena. He has developed a passion for her. Marilena is forced to accept for the sake of a supposedly harmonious household. Mr. Marcel soon finds that his marital equilibrium has become unstable.
