Film5.7FantastikDramDört Oscar adayı Beasts of the Southern Wild / Düşler Diyarı ile özel bir hayran kitlesi edinen Benh Zeitlin yine bir masal dünyası yaratmış. Zeitlin’in yedi yıldır üzerinde çalıştığı çağdaş Peter Pan uyarlaması Wendy düş gücünün ve görsel maharetinin muhteşem bir yansıması. Çocukluğunu özgürlük zamanı olarak gören ve büyümeyi reddeden Peter Pan’ın hikâyesinin özünü koruyup bizi bu kez dostu Wendy’nin bakış açısından Peter ve diğer çocuklarla tanıştıran film uzun süre rüyalarımızda bize eşlik edecek ince hisler ve düş manzaralarıyla dolu. İlk gösterimini Sundance’te yapan film, Karayipler’deki aktif bir yanardağın eteklerini, Meksika’daki mağaraları ve Louisiana’daki tren raylarını mesken tutarken amatör çocuk oyuncuların enerjisi de perdeden taşıyor.
