Budapeşte metrosunun karanlık dehlizlerini mekân tutan "Kontrol", bir grup bilet kontrolörünün yeraltında yaşadığı olaylara kara komedi türünde odaklanıyor. Bu genel tarife rağmen, aslında filmi bir türe sığdırmak pek olası değil. Luc Besson’un Metro’sundaki koreografiyi hatırlatan tavrıyla muhtelif insan portrelerine yer veren filmde, ortam yine alternatif bir yaşam ünitesi olarak sahneleniyor. Amid fierce battles, intrigue and blossoming friendships and romances, a wandering circus knife‐thrower ensures that, unlike the originals, none of the heroes need be buried at the end.
