Siska is a German television series created by Herbert Reinecker and Helmut Ringelmann and broadcast since October 30, 1998 on the network ZDF. Anyway it wasn't the best surname for a policeman because in some languages word "Siska" has extremely close meaning to "Boob" or "Tit". München 7 is a German police drama series from Franz Xaver Bogner. The show is set in Munich, Germany and features the fictive police station "München 7" or "Munich 7". The main characters are the "Sheriff from Marienplatz" Xaver Bartl and his new colleague Felix Kandler. München 7 is part of a series of commonly branded shows with similar themes called "Heiter bis tödlich".

"Löwengrube – Die Grandauers und ihre Zeit" is a German television series first aired between 1989 and 1992, created by Willy Purucker and directed by Rainer Wolffhardt. It is set in Munich and follows the lives of Ludwig Grandauer and his son Karl, both policemen, covering the years from 1897 to 1954. The TV show is based on Purucker's radio play series Die Grandauers und ihre Zeit (‘The Grandauers and their time’). The series’ main title "Löwengrube", meaning ‘Lions’ Den’, refers to the address of the Munich Police Headquarters inaugurated in 1913.

Zeit genug is a German television series. It translates to 'Plenty of Time' in English. A young man (a railway enthusiast) suffers from the monotony of his Bavarian village and, after his father's death, moves to Munich to live with his uncle. Rather unwelcome there, he experiences the joys and sorrows of the big city, true love, and frustration. By the end of the six episodes, he knows what he really wants. Ernst Hannawald (still fresh in his role) as Willi and Toni Berger as Uncle Ignaz guarantee Bavarian quality.

But as more time passes, the more we witness personal dramas, hysteric reactions and other grotesque situations. All the episodes are linked as if in a single plot. Cars and their hosts are a microcosm of stories part of a larger universe: the congestion.

After the forcible transfer to his Bavarian home village, an ex-criminal cop investigates the death of a school principal who he thinks had lots to hide.

Wolle has lost his apprenticeship. Out of shame, he hides it from his parents and his girlfriend, who leaves him as a result. He starts drinking and joins a group of unemployed young people who are mainly interested in motorcycles and are in constant danger of going off the rails. The Benedictine brother Lukas wants to get the young people off the streets and sets up a youth club with them. But when they are suspected of having committed a theft, the club is closed down. The young people occupy it. The police want to storm it. Wolle goes up to the roof and threatens to jump down.

A juvenile offender is handed over to authorities at age 13 and placed in an institution in this somber social drama. Martin is a petty thief who enjoys stealing and looks up to his older brother. When he is informed that his brother has died, Martin runs away from the reform school. He passes through various institutions and is labeled as incorrigible because of his refusal to comply with the rules of society. A dedicated child psychologist tries to save Martin when he entertains thoughts of suicide.
