La que se avecina is a Spanish television comedy created by Alberto Caballero, Laura Caballero and Daniel Deorador. The TV-series focusing around the inhabitants of Mirador de Montepinar, a fictional building located on the outskirts of a big city. Both its storylines and cast are heavily based on Aquí no hay quien viva, which ended when Telecinco bought Miramón Mendi, the series production company. The episodes debuted on the Telecinco network, and were later rerun by the same network as well as cable/satellite channels FactoríaDeFicción and Paramount Comedy. The series debuted in 22 April 2007 and became popular thanks to its funny characters, witty script, use of catchphrases and capacity to integrate and poke fun at contemporary issues; the program presents a caustic satire of many of the 'types' found in Spanish society. The name of the show involves wordplay, as "vecina" is the Spanish word for neighbour.

Zengin Samson aile bireyleri aslında çaresiz ve cinsel açlık içerisindedirler. Oğul Luis, bu açlığını çekici kız arkadaşı Silvia ile Silvia ın barda çalışan fahişe arasında gidermektedir. Jose, Silvia nın hamile olduğunu öğrendiği zaman acele ile çöplerin arasında bulduğu bir sodanın açma halkasını Silvia nın parmağına nişan yüzüğü olarak takar. Jose nın Silvia ya karşı hissettiği aşktan çok şehvettir. Ama ailesi fakir olan ve tek kurtuluş noktası Jose olan Silvia bu işarete inanmaz. Jose nin annesi oğlunun bir fahişenin kızıyla evlenmesine izin vermeyecek kadar sosyal statüsü ile gurur duymaktadır.

Sara has been alone all her life. She’s 22, has a baby, and wants to form a normal family with her young brother and the father of her child. Her own father, Manuel, decides to come back into their lives after years of absence and his release from prison. Sara knows he’s the main obstacle to her plans and she makes a difficult decision: to distance him from herself and her brother.

Arturo is married to Elena and they have four grown children, they are wonderfull but they are still living at home. Arthur is writer and that's a job that requires peace, silence and concentration, something imposible at Arturo's home. His editor convince him to make his children go out from home so Arturo start a kind of "guerrilla war" to make his sons become independent.
